Cloudy Wednesday

Cloudy day, a little bit of sun, no rain. And another quiet day. The highlight of the day was lunch at Zurita’s, a Spanish themed tapas restaurant in Newport. We sat outside in the garden. Delicious sangria! For food we shared rustic grilled bread, hummus with pita, crispy grilled squid, and skewered ground lamb. And that’s about it. Cocktails on the balcony were in long pants and polar fleece. No sun for our happy hour. Dinner was Tillamook Marionberry pie ice cream. A couple of episodes of Awaken the Dead and off to bed.

  1. What a quaint spot for a very scrumptious looking tapas restaurant. I could look at that menu all day and still not be able to decide what to have. It all sounds so good.

Every now and then Jeff and I have ice cream for supper too. Not Tillamook marionberry pie ice cream, although our local market carries Tillamook ice cream and cheese.

  2. Ice Cream for dinner, it is absolutely perfect. It does not matter what kind either. I agree with you Sue, the tapa restaurant looks great. Like the outside location. They certainly have some delicious food choices up there. Keep walking, as I know you are.
