It’s Friday. The forecast for today is rain, rain, rain. A couple of days ago we had the same forecast and only got light rain. Hopefully, but not likely, today will be the same. Tomorrow, Whitney Day, looks bad too. Sunday looks good.
Bob had a good time and has now gone home. Not too many friends around at the track. Michael from New York and his wife are back. Ed the Pharmacist from Connecticut is here. Last night I had dinner at the Wishing Well with Patty and Misty. We had a great time reminiscing. It was my second trip to the Wishing Well, my favorite restaurant.
Three more days of racing and I will be on my way home. I am ahead, just barely.
Here are some random pictures:
Sorry about all the rain Joe, but luckily the horses still run. Finally a food pic. Stay dry! Cindy
Joe, the East has been inundated with rains and floods all summer long. They seem to make it as far as New York and New England is always threatened, but so far every storm has gone out to sea before it hits us. Cape Cod has also been spared. Hot and dry summer here with rain deficit. Not good for the grass and plants, but perfect beach weather. Too bad Saratoga is not in Massachusetts. Thanks for letting us know when you are leaving. We will go into Boston and wave goodbye to you in the friendly skies. Fingers crossed you continue to stay on the winning side.
Hi Joe,
Despite the weather you are enjoying yourself and hopefully go home a winner.
Always good to see old friends and dine at your favorite restaurants in Saratoga. Traditions, like attending Saratoga race season, are important and enjoyable to do anytime you can.
Still a very good photographer with that Motorola Moto X. I have the same phone.
Say hello to Elaine.
Go Red Sox! Go Patriots! Happy Birthday, TB12.
