Monday – Sunny Sea Day

We spent a quiet day on the North Sea under sunny skies. Reading, Eating, Drinking, Napping, Watching the Ocean, Counting Oil Rigs and Wind Farms, Chatting with friends. Really nothing to report. Here’s a couple of pictures of the sun.

Tuesday morning – 6:00 am

We are anchored on the Thames in Greenwich. You can see the Cutty Sark in the picture. Forecast – rain. Oh, well. We’ve been here many times. We’ll spend a quiet day and walk around a bit if the weather allows. We sleep on the ship tonight and head for our airport hotel tomorrow morning. Flight home to PHX is on Thursday. Be back tomorrow with a short final report from the Heathrow Marriott.

  1. First of all, let me express my disappointment at the quality standard at LL Bean — a raincoat that only lasts for 25 years!!!

Nice pictures of the sun over the ocean. Wow, an Uber boat. Very cool.

Enjoy your last day and night at sea. It seems like you’ve been afloat for ages. So nice.

    1. Funny. It seems like we just started. Oh, well, we’re off again in September. And I’m going to Saratoga for 6 days in late July.

  2. And another fabulous Geoghegan trip winds down. Thanks, Elaine & Joe for letting us travel vicariously with you once again. We learn so much (I thought Cutty Sark was a scotch 🥃 of course) and your photos are beautiful. Today’s first belongs on the cover of a bible.

Celtics beat the Pacers in 4 games straight and are headed to the NBA finals. 🍀🍀🍀 First game is on Thursday at the Garden, something for you to look forward to upon repatriation. 😎🍀👏

    1. Hi Dee, hope you guys killed the Derby. I’ll be in Saratoga for a few days in late July. Come on up!

  3. Well you certainly had a beautiful trip. Safe travels home. Bill and I are at Tracey’s place in CA. She and Beau have done an amazing job here. So happy we could be with them as they leave CA Saturday. We come home Friday. Caroline/Gary leaving CO today for NM then home to Las Cruces with the 4 girls. Safe travels for all. XO Cindy
