As forecast, Sunday was a cloudy, rainy day. We went to Gracie’s Sea Hag for breakfast and then spent the day packing, reading, napping, and snacking. We had cocktails on a rainy balcony and dinner inside. The fridge is empty.
It’s Monday morning now and soon we will be heading to Portland for the afternoon flight home. That will end the blog for this trip. The blog will be back for our Christmas trip to Dingle. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. We both enjoy reading them all.
Cheers!
It’s Monday here too, and Canadian thanksgiving. Glad we are at sea. Sydney NS tomorrow. Safe travels home. We are now Atlantic time zone. Won’t even be able to stay up for first quarter of Monday night football!!!
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, Elaine and Joe. We have enjoyed vicariously experiencing your excellent adventure in the Pacific Northwest. But we Never go to the blog without having eaten first. Those photos of your meals are just too enticing. Loved the kite festival photos. So colorful, and the Kite Runners are so skillful. Loved seeing the video of that guy working the kite string. Anyone who has flown one as a kid knows that it is not easy to keep it up in the air let alone make it do all those tricks. One final comment on the beaches in Oregon. They do not look very user-friendly. Too windy and Rocky, and the ocean is too wild. Quite the contrast from our New England beaches, which are Sandy and swimmer friendly, that is, unless you are bitten by a shark! Safe travels home. We look forward to seeing you soo
